- Would you like to drink? Would you like something to drink? (Anda mau minum?)
- Would you like something to eat? (Anda mau makan?)
- Would you like some tea? (Anda mau minum teh?) Would you like some coffee? (Anda mau minum kopi?)
- What would you like to drink? (Anda mau minum apa?)
- What would you like to eat?(Anda mau makan apa?)
Jadi dalam menawarkan kita menggunakan WOULD LIKE.
- Want some coffee? (Mau kopi?)
- Do you want a coffee? (Mau secangkir kopi?
Apa jawaban kita jika ditawarkan makanan atau minuman?
- Yes, thank you. (Jika kita mau)

Erna : I always have something to drink during my meals.
Adi : What do you mean?
Erna : I mean I drink some water without waiting till my meal is finished. I know most people have something to drink after their meals.
Adi : I was advised to drink water 2 hours before meal and 2 hours after meal. If I have lunch at 1 p.m., I must drink water at 11 a.m. and at 15 p.m. I don’t have anything to drink during my meal.
Erna : That’s strange. What I know is that people have something to drink right after meal or like I do, I have something to drink during my meal.
Adi : Do you eat between your meals?
Erna : Yes, I do. I am always hungry at around 4 p.m. I can’t wait till dinner time. So, to keep me going, I buy snacks or bread. What about you, Adi?
Adi : I don’t eat anything between my meals. I only eat my lunch and dinner.
Erna : you don’t eat breakfast?
Adi : No. I am not used to eating in the morning.
Percakapan tentang Minum dan Makan
Erna : Saya selalu minum selama waktu makan.
Adi : Maksud mu?
Erna : Maksud saya, saya minum air tanpa menunggu makan selesai. Saya tahu kebanyakan orang minum setelah makan selesai.
Adi : Tidak. Saya tidak terbiasa makan pagi.
